Moving Day: OTR to Queensgate

After 90 years of serving Cincinnati’s homeless and poor in Over-the-Rhine, we moved to a new campus in Queensgate. This is a look at April 9, 2015 – the last day at 1419 Elm St. and first day at 1805 Dalton Ave. Watch as guests and staff pack up and say goodbye to the venerable old building and drive the 1.6 miles to the new homeless services facility, where they experience the newness and eat dinner for the first time. (Note: See comment below about one of the guests moving into his own place!)

Hi Maria. Thanks for your interest in helping those in need! We always advise going to our website first and exploring there. We have a lot of information on how/where/who to serve, and filling out a volunteer application is the first step. https://www.citygospelmission.org/volunteer/

Great Video, fun to see the process in high speed. Also fun to report that the gentleman moving his belongings from Elm St. to Dalton, has since completed our shelter program and has moved into his own apartment!
