City Gospel Mission serves hundreds of nutritious hot meals daily, providing sustenance, dignity, and hope to individuals facing hunger. Our meals are prepared with care and served in a welcoming environment, offering a vital lifeline to those in need.
Hot MealsOur overnight shelter offers a safe, warm place to sleep for men and women experiencing homelessness. Guests receive a clean bed, access to hygiene essentials, and compassionate support, helping them rest and take the next step toward stability.

From Thanksgiving feast essentials to Christmas gifts for the kids, our holiday programs bring joy to families and individuals in need of assistance. We provide meals, gifts, and community events that foster connection, reminding everyone that they are cared for and valued.
Holiday ProgramsThe Jobs Van offers a positive alternative to panhandling while connecting panhandlers and homeless to other services that can help them change their lives long-term.
Jobs VanOur recovery programs provide holistic support for those overcoming addiction, including counseling, faith-based guidance, and community. We walk alongside individuals on their journey to lasting freedom and renewed hope that there is something better for them.
RecoveryFeatured in Runner’s World Magazine and highlighted in many news stories, Step Forward unites and mobilizes volunteers to help men and women in addiction recovery at City Gospel Mission to break the cycle of poverty, despair, and addiction. We show God’s love to them while training for and then participating in the Cincinnati Flying Pig and Queen Bee.
Step ForwardMen and women who graduate from our residential recovery programs need support as they transition to self-sufficiency. Our transitional housing offers independent living with supportive services for our recovery program graduates. And our aftercare program offers supportive services like counseling, mentoring, and group meetings. This extra support helps men and women maintain sobriety, find long-term housing, and rebuild their lives.
AftercareEmployment Network (formerly known as JobsPlus) provides free career development and job placement services to the community. We offer traditional courses for building essential life and workplace skills, as well as a Fast Track program designed for advanced job seekers ready to launch their next career step.

Hispanic OutreachLittle Village is a free community play space for fun, early learning, and connection for families of children from birth to 5. At Little Village, we support caregivers and provide resources so they can engage with their children throughout the stages of early development. Our Little Village located in Westwood cultivates a community atmosphere for adults as well as children.
Little VillagePrincesses Ballet offers young dancers a nurturing environment to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop discipline. Our programs cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, fostering a love for ballet while empowering each child to shine.
Princesses BalletRising Scholars is a life readiness program for high school students. Trained volunteers help students work toward success in high school and plan for a career after graduation.
Rising ScholarsTutoring has the power to boost children’s academic scores, create strong readers and improve confidence. But our volunteers become so much more than tutors. They become mentors, friends and positive role models that change the lives of children beyond the classroom.
Whiz Kids TutoringJeremiah Scholars invests in young adults with financial need who come from backgrounds and communities where educational and life-skill success have greater obstacles. Jeremiah Scholars provides scholarships to youth who hope to pursue education beyond high school, whether that’s at a four-year school, community college, or trade school.
