Your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can give to people in need.
Volunteers are critical to City Gospel Mission. There are many ways for you, your group, business, school or church to get involved. If you have a heart for helping men, women and children in poverty, we invite you to partner with us.
To get started, please read our Frequently Asked Questions then select a volunteer area below to learn more.

The Outlet – every Saturday in January 9:00 a.m – 12 noon
January 6 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Outlet is a fun and safe place for volunteers to engage with our residents in the men’s shelter through games, coffee, and conversation. Shoot pool, play cards, board games, create art, read, hang out, share stories. Become a friend and an encourager to someone in need.
Because the purpose of the Outlet is to help begin the process of building life-changing relationships, the real need is for volunteers who can come regularly (at least once a month), but we welcome anyone to come check it out.
The Outlet is good for individuals or small groups (up or 10). The minimum age is 16. All youth under 18 must be accompanied by one adult for every four youth.
Volunteers must complete an application here prior to attending the first time. The group leader can complete for the group. Please submit your application at least two weeks in advance. Our volunteer coordinator will follow up with you with more details.
Donations are also needed for the Outlet: Coffee, disposable cups, drink mix, napkins, snacks like granola bars, etc.
For individuals: Individual Application
For a group: Group Application
