Give food, coats and other essentials to people in need

It’s easy to take a toothbrush or a winter hat for granted. Many of the men, women and children we serve don’t have the essentials for daily living. Help us provide nutritious meals, clothes, school supplies, personal hygiene products, and other essential items to people in need. Start a collection drive with your friends, co-workers or church.

Our shelter will not close its doors. Necessary safety precautions are causing an unplanned strain on our budget and resources, and we urgently need your help to fill the gap. Please give now to help our vulnerable, homeless neighbors during this crisis.

  • Give funds to help us purchase needed supplies.
  • We are in great need of thermometers, bleach, gloves, paper towels, disinfectant wipes/sprays, and hand sanitizer. Items can be dropped off at 1805 Dalton Avenue.
  • We are offering bagged lunches to anyone in the community who needs them. PLEASE CONTACT HANNAH FIRST BEFORE DROPPING OFF THESE ITEMS HANDERSON@CITYGOSPELMISSION.ORG. We are in need of these items to create the bagged lunches:

    • Whole packages of sliced cheese
