Give food, coats and other essentials to people in need

It’s easy to take a toothbrush or a winter hat for granted. Many of the men, women and children we serve don’t have the essentials for daily living. Help us provide nutritious meals, clothes, school supplies, personal hygiene products, and other essential items to people in need. Start a collection drive with your friends, co-workers or church.

Our Wish List:

Holidays

  • Thanksgiving Exchange Food Drive– Your church, business or family can organize a drive to collect food for families in need. Visit our Food Donation sign up page to learn about needed items and drop off locations and times. If you have questions, please contact Angela Allen at aallen@citygospelmission.org.
  • Coat, Hat, and Glove Drive– Coats, hats, gloves and scarves are needed for men, women and children in all sizes. In the past, we’ve quickly run out of the largest men’s sizes (2XL-8XL) so these are especially needed. Items can be dropped off at City Gospel Mission Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We give coats to our guests all winter long but our biggest need for coats is before Thanksgiving so they can be provided to guests at the Fall Feast event.
  • Toy and Clothing Drive for Christmas Store – Donate new toys and upper body clothing for children by December 12. Download our Christmas Store donation options and info.
