Wish List
It’s easy to take a toothbrush or a winter hat for granted. Many of the men, women and children we serve don’t have the essentials for daily living. Start a collection drive with your friends, co-workers, or church to help us provide nutritious meals, clothes, school supplies, personal hygiene products, and other essential items. Here's our current Wish List:
Toiletries (full size and travel size)
- Deodorant
- Bar soap/body wash
- Shampoo
- Q-tips
- Lotion
- Toothpaste & toothbrushes
- Baby powder, foot powder
- Razors, shave cream
Household Items
- Towels (hand and bath)
- Water glasses
- Dinner plates (6 inch and 9 or 10 inch)
- Water/juice pitchers
- Batteries (AA)
- Paper towels, napkins
- Furniture (good condition)
Food Items (non-perishables)
Note: Please avoid items that need eggs, oil, or milk to prepare (such as cake mixes).
- Canned goods like ravioli, beef stew, canned chicken, tuna, salmon, vegetables, fruit, soup, etc.
- Dry food such as noodles, rice, beans, oatmeal, grits, crackers, macaroni & cheese
- Peanut butter
- Powdered milk
- Condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayo, etc)
Adult Clothing Items
- New men’s underwear (large sizes and up)
- New men’s socks (white, athletic)
- New and gently used coats (mostly men’s large and extra large)
- Winter items (hats, gloves, scarves)
Whiz Kids Needs :
- Backpacks
- Canvas Goodie Bags (measuring approximately 28"x13" and have 12" handles)
- Pencils & small pencil sharpeners
- Erasers
- Writing paper and note books
- Folders
- Small white boards, dry erase markers and erasers
- Flash cards for division, multiplication, addition and subtraction
- Index cards
- Children’s dictionaries
- Kleenex
- Hand sanitizers
- Glue sticks
- Safety scissors
- Crayons
- New books that are appropriate for children ages 5-12
Items for The Outlet
- Ping pong supplies (balls, nets, etc.)
- Foosball table
- Pool supplies (chalk, balls, pool cues)
- Coffee and hot chocolate
- Individual packets of creamer, sugar, and sweetener
- Cups for hot beverages and stir sticks
- Lemonade, Tea, and Punch
- Granola bars, muffins, and breakfast pastries
- Paint, canvases, and brushes
- Sketch pads and colored pencils
- Board games such as Checkers, Chess, Jenga, Connect Four, Battleship, Dominoes,Operation, Clue, and Life
- New or recent publications of People, Time, Newsweek, Oprah, Home & Garden, National Geographic, and Christian Magazines
Horseback Riding Program Needs:
- Feed (10-12% Sweet Feed, Rolled Oats, Dumor Stable Energy)
- Bales of hay
- Stall Shavings
Technology Needs
- Computers in good working condition
- Monitors, keyboards and computer speakers
Please take donation items to City Gospel Mission, 1419 Elm Street, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you cannot drop-off your donations during these times, please call (513) 241-5525 to make other arrangements.
