Understanding Poverty Workshop & Training
Poverty is not just a condition of not having enough money. It is a realm of particular rules, emotions, and knowledge that guide relationships and life choices.
City Gospel Mission now offers an Understanding Poverty Workshop several times a year. Presented by Sherman Bradley, Director of Consider the Poor, this workshop is designed for volunteers and professionals who work with people who come from poverty, or anyone who would like to gain a better understanding about the culture of poverty.
