Thanksgiving Partnerships
City Gospel Mission partners with Give Back Cincinnati on Fall Feast, a community-wide Thanksgiving Day celebration at the Duke Energy Center. With only 105 seats available in City Gospel Mission’s dining area, the Fall Feast partnership affords us the opportunity to reach out to more men and women in need and inform them of the services available to them at the Mission. More than 5,000 men, women, and children in need receive free coats, hats, gloves, meals, and haircuts each year. Fall Feast also gives City Gospel Mission the platform to help further educate the community on issues of poverty in Cincinnati. 2012 Fall Feast Feeds Thousands
As we have for over seven decades on Thanksgiving Day, we still serve breakfast and a dinnertime meal at the Mission headquarters in Over-the-Rhine. Those in need who come to the Mission on Thanksgiving Day also will be encouraged to attend Fall Feast that afternoon. Your Thanksgiving donation to City Gospel Mission will continue to be used solely to feed and care for the homeless and poor we serve. For City Gospel Mission, partnering with Fall Feast is not just a one-time meal for Thanksgiving. This is about lasting relationships and breaking the cycle of poverty and despair — one life at a time.
