Thanksgiving Outreach

The Mission’s Thanksgiving Celebration always touches the hearts of those who attend. Volunteers prepare and serve a hot, delicious Thanksgiving feast to more than 300 men, women and children. Licensed hairdressers and barbers provide free haircuts. In 2008, 60 people received haircuts in our Thanksgiving Salon.

In addition to a delicious meal and haircuts, winter coats and other services are available to those in need.

On Thanksgiving Day, caring volunteers also deliver home-cooked Thanksgiving meals to our elderly and homebound neighbors. This gift of time spent in love and fellowship touches the lives of over 150 men and women each Thanksgiving.
