Roger’s work with children living in poverty has spanned nearly three decades and counting. He serves as President of City Gospel Mission and CityCURE (a ministry that helps urban youth through innovative, relationship-based programming). Roger and his wife, Kathy, have four children and live in Winton Place.

A native of Cincinnati, Sherman is a licensed and ordained minister who has served in foreign missions in Africa as well as urban Cincinnati. He is founder and director of City Gospel Development Company which provides training in Building and Construction trades for men. Sherman’s dynamic leadership and passion for changed lives inspires men at City Gospel Mission to live purposefully and with faith.

Lucreta Bowman’s early years were full of pain, abuse, and addiction. She spent time in a mental hospital and state prison. Yet through divine grace and a dedication to healthy lifestyle decisions she was transformed. As the founding director of Having the Courage to Change, Lucreta inspires other women to recover from destructive life-controlling behaviors. Lucreta’s book, Breaking the Cycle of Self-Abuse, is now available for sale with all proceeds going to City Gospel Mission.

Terry works with men in City Gospel Mission’s Work Program and Special Needs Program. The power of Christ working in their lives and Terry’s encouragement, case management, counseling, and one-on-one discipleship helps these men on their personal journeys to wholeness. Terry is currently working towards completing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Cincinnati Christian University.

Dave was born for the work he does at City Gospel Mission. He loves introducing people to the Mission and the exciting changes happening in the lives of our guests. As Ministry Advancement Director, Dave talks to people about how they can bring help and hope to the homeless, hurting, and poor. As a volunteer, donor, and now employee, Dave has been involved with City Gospel Mission for more than 12 years.

Kevin is a recent graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and previously worked as a missionary for over ten years.  In addition to serving as a chaplain on several college campuses, Kevin has ministered throughout Latin America and Europe.  He is excited about his work as the Volunteer Manager, and loves seeing God provide for the many volunteer needs that the Mission has.  Kevin and his wife, Joy, have two children.
