GE Matches Gifts 2:1We have some very exciting news! On December 19, 2008, The GE Foundation announced a new Food & Shelter Matching Gifts Program that matches 2:1 all gifts made to City Gospel Mission by GE employees and retirees. This program focuses on basic needs, specifically the provisioning of food and shelter, to organizations that have experienced a significant increase in demand due to the economic downturn. This temporary program will end on December 31, 2009. If you are a GE employee or retiree this program will match 2:1 your gifts made to City Gospel Mission up to $25,000. This means that even more people will be helped this year. Your generous gift of $25 or more will be tripled. City Gospel Mission would love to have all the gifts that you generously give matched 2:1. Here's how it works:
We are grateful to GE and its employees and retirees for helping the homeless and hurting here in Greater Cincinnati! For more information about City Gospel Mission's participation in GE's Matching Gift Programs, please contact Chala Lewis at (513)345-1061 or clewis@citygospelmission.org. |
