Emergency Shelter

Emergency Shelter at City Gospel MissionUp to 46 men are welcomed as guests each night in our clean, safe shelter. The men are assigned a bed and a locker, and they may keep that bed and locker up to three weeks. During that time they are encouraged to enter one of our three programs for men: Exodus Recovery Program, Special Needs Program, or Work Program.

Our shelter guests are required to pay a $15 per week shelter fee to reserve beds and lockers. This small fee encourages personal responsibility and helps our guests hold on to their dignity. First time guests who are not able to cover the shelter fee are welcomed, and a plan for them to earn the fee is put into action.

All shelter guests must be in the building by 6:45 p.m. every night in order to retain their assigned beds and lockers. Guests may be out later if they can verify that they are working or there is a serious emergency.

For more information about our Men's Overnight Shelter please contact us at (513) 241-5525.
